traffics Software Solutions for Tourism GmbH is expanding its Management Board: with Leander Kouparanis, the company is welcoming an experienced finance expert as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In his new role, he will be responsible for the company’s financial strategy and, together with the Management Board, will drive forward traffics’ continued growth and development.
Leander Kouparanis brings twelve years of experience in finance to the role. After starting his career in Finance Advisory at KPMG, he spent around ten years working as an independent consultant and interim manager. During this time, he supported tech, SaaS and e-commerce companies in Germany, Europe and the US in particular, helping them to establish robust controlling structures, supporting financing rounds and translating financial data into sound decision-making bases for management. In addition, he was regularly involved in strategic projects such as international market entries and post-merger integrations.
In addition to his financial expertise, Leander Kouparanis was also active in the field of organisational development: as co-founder of a consultancy network, he supported companies and executives in the areas of change management and business mediation through structural change processes.
Leander Kouparanis also brings a diverse academic background to the table: in addition to his degrees from the Stockholm School of Economics (M.Sc. in Business and Economics) and the University of St. Gallen (B.A. in Business Administration), he holds an M.A. in Mediation & Conflict Management from the European University Viadrina.
“We are delighted to welcome Leander as a new member of the Management Board at traffics. With his extensive experience in finance, strategy and organisational development, he will provide important impetus for the next steps in our company’s development,” explains Marc Herrgott.
With this addition to the Management Board, traffics is consistently continuing its growth trajectory and laying the foundations for the company’s next stages of development.
