The core of the update is the complete redesign of the internal and external connection architecture and the massive expansion of server and line capacities. In addition, a flexible, dynamically scalable connection for critical applications has been integrated.
Thanks to this modernisation, traffics can now process search and booking processes even faster and more reliably, even at peak times – such as during seasonal increases in travel activity or short-term peaks in demand.
"The redesign of our architecture and the flexible scalability to external clouds significantly improve product performance and enable us to respond quickly and reliably to high demand at any time," explains Marc Herrgott, CEO of traffics. "I am extremely proud of our team, which completed the project ahead of schedule and successfully subjected the systems to extensive load testing."
As part of the modernisation, all data lines, transfer and computing capacities for caching and booking processes, and recovery systems were completely renewed. With this, traffics aims to set another technological milestone and further strengthen its position as a leading innovative tech provider in the travel industry.
