traffics sets important course for higher data quality

Berlin (w&p;) – 18 November 2025 New matching logic optimises caching processes and ensures more accurate results.

Berlin-based travel tech specialist traffics is developing its own logic to improve caching quality, complementing existing tour operator data deliveries.

The focus is on automated data exchange between the respective tour operator systems and traffics – in real time ("on the fly") – regarding hotel offers that are no longer available. This information is immediately compared with the internal cache and cleaned up. The result: a significantly higher availability rate and thus a significant increase in data quality.

"The direct comparison between our traffics cache and the reservation systems of TRASO and other systems marks an important milestone in the optimisation of our data processes. The new logic enables an uplift of up to five per cent in the availability rate," explains Marc Herrgott, CEO of traffics. "Our goal is to ensure the highest possible data quality for our customers. Against this background, we are continuously working on various relevance projects – this is one of them."

FERIEN Touristik, coral travel and Bentour, among others, have already successfully made the switch; other tour operator partners will follow in the coming weeks.
